Finding Peace in the Presence of God

Additional Information

There are moments in life when the weight of responsibilities, disappointments, grief, uncertainty, and daily pressures can leave us feeling overwhelmed and spiritually exhausted. In those moments, many people search for answers in busy schedules, distractions, or the opinions of others, only to discover that true peace cannot be found in the world around us. True peace is found only in the presence of God.

Stillness is not simply the absence of noise — it is the posture of a heart that trusts God completely. It is choosing to pause long enough to hear His voice above fear, anxiety, and confusion. The Bible reminds us in Psalm 46:10, “Be still, and know that I am God.” Those words are more than a suggestion; they are an invitation from God Himself to rest in His sovereignty, power, and love.

In God’s presence, healing begins. Burdens become lighter. Clarity replaces confusion. Strength rises in weak places. Even when circumstances do not immediately change, His presence changes us. He renews our minds, comforts our hearts, and reminds us that we are never alone.

This ministry was birthed out of a desire to create a sacred space where people can encounter God deeply and personally. Whether you are here seeking encouragement, healing, wisdom, prayer, or simply a moment to breathe, know that you are welcome. Our prayer is that every message, broadcast, song, blog, and ministry resource will draw you closer to the heart of God.

As you begin this journey with us, I encourage you to set aside intentional moments each day to sit quietly before the Lord. Pray. Worship. Read His Word. Listen. You may be surprised at how much God desires to speak when we become still enough to hear Him.

No matter what season you are in, God’s presence is available to you. His peace is real. His love is unwavering. His grace is sufficient.

Thank you for visiting Stillness In His Presence Ministry. We are honored to walk this faith journey with you.

Grace and peace,
Evangelist David Nellum
